Rabia Shahid, M.D., is a family medicine resident at the DeTar Family Medicine Center. Born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan, she earned her medical degree from Fatima Jinnah Medical University and completed a one-year internship at Ganga Ram Hospital, gaining broad clinical experience. She chose family medicine for its focus on continuity of care and the ability to build lasting patient relationships, and she joined DeTar for its strong inpatient training and unopposed program structure. Her long-term goal is to pursue double board certification in family medicine and a hospital-based subspecialty. She is currently accepting new patients.
