Taha Ahmed, M.D., is a family medicine resident at DeTar Family Medicine Center. Raised in Pittsburgh, he earned his medical degree from Sri Siddhartha Medical College in India and was drawn to family medicine for its versatility and continuity of care. He has special interests in preventive health, hospital medicine and sports medicine, and chose DeTar’s program for its strong hands-on training and supportive learning environment. He is currently accepting new patients. Most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted.
