Shariq Sikanderali, M.D., is a family medicine resident at DeTar Family Medicine Center. Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, he completed his medical education at Dow Medical College before moving to Houston in 2022. He chose family medicine for the opportunity to build long-term patient relationships and manage a wide range of conditions, and he was drawn to DeTar’s unopposed program with strong inpatient training. He is currently accepting new patients. Most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted.
