Kapil Sapkota, M.D., is a family medicine resident at DeTar Family Medicine Center. Originally from Houston, he attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch and chose family medicine for its focus on caring for patients of all ages and building long-term relationships. He was drawn to the unopposed structure and broad clinical exposure of the DeTar Family Medicine Residency Program, as well as its strong emphasis on resident well-being. He is grateful for the supportive training environment and the positive experience he has had so far. He is currently accepting new patients. Most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted.
