About
Daniel Espinosa, M.D., earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and completed his internship at New York Medical College. A Victoria, Texas, native, he returned to his hometown to complete his residency as part of the inaugural class of the DeTar Family Medicine Residency Program, affiliated with Texas A&M Health Science Center. During residency, he was recognized for his leadership and served as chief resident. He also founded a global health initiative in Ecuador, the country of his birth.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Espinosa served on the frontlines and was internationally recognized for research by the First World Congress for COVID-19 in Switzerland. He currently serves as medical director of DeTar On Demand Urgent Care.
Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Espinosa specializes in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions. He is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on preventive medicine and long-term wellness.
